Kim and Nick had a wedding that all of us outdoorsy wedding types could dream of! They held their wedding at Kitsap Memorial State Park in Poulsbo, Washington. The forest was such a perfect place for a sweet wedding in the woods. An 8 hour drive and a ferry away from Missoula, it was absolutely worth the trip! I mean, can anyone really get too many ferns and PNW vibes in their life?
They even arranged for a door frame arch to welcome them into their ceremony. Uhhh, what?! I can’t even explain to you the sweetness, friends. I just can’t. The bride’s long sleeve Martina Liana wedding gown from Blue Sky Bridal was absolutely stunning with her Seattle Pikes Place Market freshly picked tulip bouquet.
Not kidding, you guys, Kim’s dad was the one who taught me that when a bride’s makeup is running, you gotta DAB IT, GIRL. Dab. Don’t wipe or smear. Dab. I basically had to dab my own makeup as I watched him dab his daughter’s before they both walked down the aisle together. I was a complete mess! When I saw this father walk his daughter down the aisle in the forest of Kitsap Memorial State Park, I just KNEW that everybody was going to be crying in no time. Prediction, confirmed.
