It was a rainy day for Luíse & Travis when they were married up in Springhill with their closest family and friends. As wedding planners, we always (I mean, ALWAYS) have a Plan B and C. Rainy days like this and we’re happy we did!
It would’ve been easy for these two to let the rain get the best of them, but they were nothing but smiles on their wedding day. They love each other so much and at the end of the day, they were marrying their best friend!
They have an amazing “how they met” story that we will never forget. It’s one of the most romantic and “love conquers all” stories we’ve ever heard. They met online when Luíse was learning English. Travis was there to teach it. They talked for hours and they really connected. Luíse said to Travis that they probably wouldn’t see each other again. Travis thought, challenge accepted. It would be a big challenge to meet since she lived in South America and he lived in the US, but they did it! They flew thousands of miles to meet each other and they’ve been together ever since.
Their relationship is based off of hours and hours of quality time talking, so they’ve formed a pretty great foundation for their marriage. This long distance relationship didn’t just cover a couple cities or stats, but countries. Luíse told Travis, “We have every reason to fail at this and we’re here getting married.”
