Krista and Peyton went on their first date five and a half years ago on December 14th, 2014. It’s a day that Peyton says he’ll never forget. After arranging for dinner and a movie, they got back into the car. Peyton told Krista to closer her eyes and that he had a surprise for her. Having met each other online, Krista was reasonably skeptical. As she closed her eyes, she told him, “Listen, if you want to kill me, just tell me.” Obviously she was pleasantly surprised to see that he had taken her to Country Christmas, a cute little village all decorated in Christmas lights. They took their first photo together with Santa Claus.
They came to Montana for the first time in the summer of 2015. Adventuring and travel is one of the groom’s favorite things to do. They decided to make the trip to Glacier National Park for an adventure and the most magical thing happened… They fell in love with each other as they were falling in love with Glacier. Lake McDonald was the first place they stopped in the park and that was the “OMG” moment for them. They decided to come back to Montana and elope in the same place they fell in love with so many years ago.
Krista & Peyton’s favorite wedding details were writing their own vows. They had always known that they wanted to write their own vows to each other and reciting them was one moment that will last with them both forever. They both married their best friend and have a HUSBAND and WIFE forever. At the end of the day, anything could happen and they would still have each other.
Krista put together every flower in the wedding, from her gorgeous bouquet, her flower crown, boutonnieres, and corsages. She really wanted to bring out her crafty side and it was really special for her knowing she had a hand in each of them.
