Lilac Wedding Design in the Bitterroot

Super sweet florals, the perfect palette of lilac and white, and an intimate indoor setting help to create one of the prettiest styled shoots. Styled to perfection and captured beautifully by Honeybee Weddings, features among many lovely details: a wedding dress with an exquisite jeweled bodice, the sweetest three tier wedding cake, and a tablescape where any couple or guest would love to sit.

There’s something so romantic about lilacs. Only blooming a few weeks every year at Stone Tower Estate, they’re incredibly beautiful with their varying colors and sweet scent. The idea for the shoot was to be intimate, romantic and airy, working with the billowing pipe and drape from Oh So Chic Event Rentals. The planning duo was inspired by the soft textures, using ethereal floating fabrics and scalloped vintage plates and teacups.

The bride’s dreamy ball gown from J Scott Couture with the jeweled neckline was absolutely enchanting. The full tulle skirt train cascaded from the beautiful beading, drawing every eye in the room. Her hair was tousled in a loose updo, complete with soft makeup. The groom’s grey suit and dark purple tie with the white rose and lilac boutonniere was the perfect compliment.

In the bride’s hands, she carried a stunning, jewel-toned bouquet, filled with lilac, succulents, and white roses created by Wild Wind Floral.

Guests find their seats at long farm tables amist gorgeous, flowing drapes to capture the romance. At their tables, they dine from scalloped vintage plates and sip from delicate antique tea cups. The planners at Honeybee Weddings carefully selected an array of centerpieces in silver vases, welcoming the guests to the event.

After dinner, the bride and groom and their guests enjoyed a 3-tiered hand crafted cake and beautifully glazed donuts from Crave Catering and Cakes, set atop a vintage stand from Oh So Chic Event Rentals. We loved the dreamy feel of this cake. It’s the perfect fit for today’s weddings which continue to span the trends from rustic to chic. With smaller ruffles, it could easily fit a more formal wedding without being pretentious. The glazed and pearled donuts tap into the slight whimsical details that are so desirable.

Big love to all the fabulous suppliers and their incredible contributions to the shoot – it was amazing!
