Missoula really showed up for us today. It was a balmy 35 degrees with a skiff of snow on the ground. On my way to the shoot, I saw a heard of deer (totally normal, welcome to Montana) AND a flock of wild turkeys! It’s obviously a Montana engagement session when you can see dogs, deer, and turkeys all in one day.
The wooded wonderland that is McClay Flats made for the perfect place to let the dogs loose to burn off some energy. The pine trees were large and looming and made me feel so lucky to be out and about with this adorable couple. The river was the perfect place to show off those Missoula mountains in the background.
After meeting Lia and Corey for the first time, I am so obsessed with basically how sweet and loving they are. Plus they brought along the CUTEST fur babies ever! Remy & Lucy were the stars of the show (when we could get Lucy in the photo at all). Poor little thing was a bit camera shy. Or she was just too good to deal with me. One of the two. PSA – if you’re ever wondering whether or not to bring your pets to your engagement session, the answer is YES!
